Applicant should be aged 18 or above & no. of people for each group cannot be more than 6.
Water Activity Participants should be able to swim with clothes for at least 50 metres / proficient in swimming
II. Codes for Enrolment Method and Procedure:
Means the activity can be enrolled on a first-come-first-served basis through the enrolment methods listed at the right column
1. Enrol in person at any Water Sports Centre (WSCs) , District Leisure Services Offices (DLSOs) or any recreation and sports venues with Leisure Link Services Applicants should return the completed enrolment forms, and proof of the required water sports qualification (if applicable), originals/copies of documentary proof eligibility for concessionary rates and their entry fees to any WSCs / DLSOs or any recreation and sports venues with Leisure Link Services on the date(s) of enrolment. Applications will be processed until all the quotas are filled. At the time of enrolment, Hong Kong residents should produce their Hong Kong Identity Card, children aged below 11 could also produce Birth Certificate / Document of Identity for Visa Purposes / HKSAR Re-entry Permit / One-way Permit. Non-Hong Kong residents should produce their valid travel documents (e.g. passports, Exit-Entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao) (original or copy) for verification.
Unless otherwise stated, each applicant may only submit one application form at one time. Those who want to submit more than one application form must queue up again.
2. Enrolment by mail An applicant should mail the completed application form and a copy of the required water sports qualification (if applicable), together with a crossed cheque payable to ‘The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’, copies of his/her identity documents (for verification only) copies of documentary proof for eligibility for concessionary rates and a stamped return envelope to the WSCs organising the activity at least 10 working days prior to the commencement of the activity. Enrolment will be treated on a first-come-first-served basis. For applications received on the same day, priority will be accorded to the applicants who make the enrolment in person. Remaining quota will be allocated by balloting to the mail applications if applications exceed the quota.
3. Enrolment through Leisure Link Self-service Kiosk During the period of enrolment, applicants may enrol in the activities through a Leisure Link Self-service Kiosk.

Applicants should submit the application forms in person or by post to the to the WSC/ DLSOs organising of the activity (Please refer to the monthly programme information of the WSC/ DLSOs organising the activity or contact the WSC/ DLSOs for enquiries), or apply through the Internet (visit http://www.lcsd.gov.hk/en/programmes/programmeslist/districtsports/searchrsprog.php, click on the programme, and click “E-submission for balloting application” under the “Application Form” section on the Activity Page) or Leisure Link Self-service Kiosk on the specified date.
For the same type of activities (e.g. all kayaking activities belong to the same type of activity) within the same enrolment period, each applicant can only submit one application form. Applicants who duplicate their enrolments or submit incomplete applications will be disqualified. If applicants want to apply for the same type of activity at different WSCs (e.g. kayak training courses at TMTWSC and WSWSC), they should submit separate forms to the concerned centres for independent balloting.
Place are allotted by balloting which will be held on the specified balloting day after the closing date of application. Balloting will start at 9:00am, members of the public are welcome to witness the balloting procedure on the specific date and time at the organizing WSC.
Successful applicants must bring along their notification letters, identity documents (original or copy), proof of the required water sports qualification (if applicable) and entry fees to the designated Water Sports Centres / District Offices / recreation and sports venues with Leisure Link Services / Leisure Link Self-service Kiosks for enrolment / Leisure Link Internet Booking (not applicable to competitions) (for details, please refer to the notification letters).
Waiting list will be drawn up for all the LCSD training programmes and recreation activities. No priority number will be assigned to the applicants on the waiting list.
If places are available after the payment due date for successful applicants, these places will be opened for all the applicants on the waiting list for enrolment within specified period at any Water Sports Centres / District Offices / recreation and sports venues with Leisure Link Services / Leisure Link Self-service Kiosks / Leisure Link Internet Booking (not applicable to competitions) on a first-come-first-served basis. (Remarks: All applicants on the waiting list will be informed of the details of arrangement by mail.)
If there are still places after the enrolment period for the applicants on the waiting list, these places will be opened to the general public on the “Date of Open Enrolment for Remaining Quota” starting from 8:30am, via the following means, for enrolment on a first-come-first-served basis:

District Leisure Services Offices
Recreation and Sports Venues with Leisure Link Services
Leisure Link Internet Booking (not applicable to competitions)
Leisure Link Self-service Kiosks (not applicable to competitions)
The date of Open Enrolment for Remaining Quota for all training courses will be stated in the Monthly Programme of WSCs.
The balloting result of each programme will be publicized within five working days from the balloting date. Enquiries about the balloting result and the remaining quota arrangement may be directed to the respective WSCs organising the activity.
Means the activity also accepts on-line enrolment via Leisure Link Internet Booking on a first-come-first-served basis. Applicants may enrol in activities through the mobile Leisure Link e-Service System or the Leisure Link website (http://leisurelink.lcsd.gov.hk) starting from 8:30am on the first day of enrolment.
Means the activity should be enrolled at the WSCs organising the activity (Please refer to the monthly programme information of the WSCs organising the activity or contact the WSCs for enquiries) and applications would be processed on a first-come-first-served basis.
“On-the-spot Enrolment” arrangement (only applicable to the activities organised by water sports centres) If enrolled participants fail to attend a programme or are absent or late for 30 minutes or more on the first day of the event**, their places will be filled by standby applicants on the spot on a first-come-first-served basis. Remarks: (i) As far as those programmes of more than 2 days are concerned, participants who need to be absent or late for 30 minutes or more on the first day of the event** shall submit their written applications to the centres at least two working days prior to the commencement of the programme. Such being the case, the on-the-spot enrolment arrangement will not be applicable. (ii) In the circumstances under item (i), the participants may submit their applications to a given centre only once within a period of 90 days. (iii) The venue manager/duty officer in-charge may cancel or suspend the on-the-spot enrolment arrangement at any time for operational reasons or due to special circumstances nearby. (iv) In the event that there are no standby applicants filling vacant places, if any, on the spot, the centres in question may at discretion allow those participants who are late for 30 minutes or more to take part in the remaining sessions of the programme, provided that it does not cause disruption to the programme.
